The 2012 Jaguar XF is a bold decision in the luxury sedan segment and has a rich character that is immediately obvious. The center console red starter button pulsates like there's a real heart feline deep shock. Pressing Jaguar V8 brings to life and then, as the curtain rises in La Traviata, the shift lever out flyers in the palm of the driver and turn the four vents in the place. This is the theater of the cars, which is similar efforts of various Audi, BMW and Mercedes-Benz seems banal supper club productions.
For three years, the theater has helped rejuvenate the Jaguar brand, which had been used very well the last of his nine lives (our last cat reference, we promise). But as this luxury midsize sedan arrived in the middle of their life cycle, there is certainly room for improvement. For 2012, the XF XFR high-performance and achieve a smooth refreshing style that reduces some of the less elegant details of the car. The most visible change can be seen in the headlights, which have been redesigned to be more elegant and far closer to those of the flagship XJ saloon. The grille is a bit more to the right, while the lower front panel has become less demanding. In the rear, the taillights are a great big and now use LED bulbs.
Inside, the basic model, the seats are supported by this year with the new colors available in leather. More importantly, the Jaguar has installed its latest complete navigation system with touch screen itself, which is also used in the XJ. And 'yet ergonomic issues, and speak slowly, at times, but represents a big improvement. Other internal controls have been modified to look, feel and function better.
Otherwise, the 2012 Jaguar XF driver with its precise handling, superb ride and resilient V8. Of course, there are some drawbacks. Most of these competing cars are available with four-wheel drive and a less powerful, plus a choice of fuel efficient engines. The height of the rear seat can be tight. It is certainly worth checking out the Audi A6 and the A7 Audi, BMW 5 Series and Mercedes-Benz CLS-Class and Class E.
2012 Jaguar XF Each comes standard with traction and stability control, antilock brakes, front side air bags, side curtain airbags and parking sensors. Available safety equipment includes a blind spot warning, rearview camera and alert system makes the front (included with adaptive cruise control).
