After many improvements to the Mustang line last year, we would not have been surprised this year Ford's engineers just sit and watch their winning horse running circles around his competition. As it turns out, however, they were busy creating yet another highly desirable model to participate in the barn.
For 2012, Ford Mustang Boss 302 reintroduced, a plaque recalls the Boss 302, 1969. As before, the Boss 302 is a beast new track to listen, and it must be fun to drive and even potentially recoverable. Many of the improvements of the engine to fly to 444 horses, and the owner receives a series of hardware upgrades to handle the extra rage under the hood.
Support the new Boss 302 Mustang two that are capable by themselves. The engine of the Mustang entry-level V6 stirs an impressive 305 horsepower and earn a creditable 31 mpg on the highway cycle of the EPA. The V8 GT has more power in the mix. Both Ford boasts an impressive range of options, including suspension and brake improvements and innovative electronic timing.
As good as the Mustang, there are some minor errors. The interior still has its share of cheap plastic, but the lack of telescopic steering wheel means the driving position is compromised for some. The new generation Mustang is also a victim of its own success when it comes to style, because there are too many on the road to turn heads.
The 2012 Ford Mustang is the only horse in the race, either. The Dodge Challenger offers more interior space, while the most spectacular style Camaro is likely to collect much more attention. The Mustang comes in the final stretch, however, because it presents the most complete package together.
